Sarah has a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with a focus in math education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Through the educational policy and leadership program at Marquette University, she completed principal and director of instruction licensure. After serving as a school administrator, Sarah decided to return to teaching and currently works in Oak Creek as an elementary school instructional coach, supporting the professional growth of teachers.

Drawn by Wauwatosa’s walkable neighborhood schools, Sarah, her husband, and three kids settled in the Roosevelt Elementary neighborhood nearly a decade ago. Her youngest children, twins, are finishing their senior year at Tosa East, where they’ve pursued their passions for art and technical education. Sarah decided to run for school board because she wanted to give back to the local public schools where her own children have thrived. Sarah wants to help Tosa schools be even stronger for future generations.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys birding (her favorites are the springtime warblers), biking, and rock climbing.
